The Student Recruitment Events Team are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised team supervisor who will work to support the planning and delivery of the University’s Visit Days. You will be part of a team of staff who work with academics and current students to deliver conversion events to support applicants and offer holders. You will also be responsible for supporting the wider team in delivering recruitment events such as Open Days and First Look, along with line managing an Events Coordinator. The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and flexibility is required for working ad hoc weekends to support events. This is a brilliant opportunity for a committed individual who is interested in enhancing their logistical organisation, event delivery and line management skills.
The successful candidate will have experience of planning and delivering events, line management and leading on delegated projects. Knowledge or experience of working in higher education would be advantageous. Our team is looking for an individual with exceptional organisational skills, strong time management, and an ability to prioritise multiple, conflicting tasks and deadlines. The successful events supervisor will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be confident working alongside a variety of colleagues and able to build relationships, as well as being computer literate and willing to learn new systems.
