The teaching, research and innovation activities within the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering involve a continually changing and a wide variety of customised equipment, components and experimental systems.

The post of Senior Technical Officer will be based in the materials processing, characterisation and testing laboratories and will work (in consultation) with staff, postgraduate and undergraduate students in the design, processing and characterisation of materials, in particular metals and alloys and in various other associated support activities, as required.

95 Snr Technical Officer\2013 (7916) Salary Scale: €52,990 - €70,804 Per Annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
