Position overview
We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our team as an Information Access Coordinator. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact between the library and Schools in the discipline areas of humanities, social sciences, business and economics, providing tailored support and guidance to academics, students, and researchers in effectively accessing and utilising library resources. You will also be part of a team responsible for managing the library's collections in these discipline areas, ensuring their alignment with the evolving needs of the academic community and the university's research priorities.
This is a role for an experienced informational professional with strengths in training, information literacy, supervising staff and collection management. It requires analytical ability and excellent communication skills.
To be successful, you must demonstrate your ability to liaise with research library clients, develop and deliver generic and in-curricular information literacy sessions and understand the academic library environment.
